Landscape rock in Eden Prairie
Landscape Rock in Eden Prairie, MN
Decorative rock for beds, borders and foundations: a natural look with almost no upkeep, installed over fabric so it stays clean.
Landscape rock for Eden Prairie homes and businesses
Our landscape crews build across Hennepin County, and Eden Prairie projects start with a visit to the property so the design fits the grade, the drainage and how you use the yard. Landscape rock is one of the services we install most often.
Decorative rock is easy to overlook and hard to beat for areas you want to look good without work. Rock beds need no watering, no pruning and no annual top-up, and the orderly look of a rock garden brings a calm, natural feel to the yard.
Whether you want a full rock garden or rock accents in the beds, we install over landscape fabric with proper edging so the rock stays where it is put and weeds stay out. River rock, trap rock, granite and limestone each give a different color and texture; we bring samples.
We also provide landscape rock in Edina, Excelsior and Golden Valley, so Eden Prairie customers are on a route, never a special trip.
Landscape rock in Eden Prairie
What is included
River rock, trap rock, granite or limestone in a size that suits the bed and the look.
Landscape fabric under the rock blocks weeds; edging keeps the rock out of the lawn.
Beds converted from mulch to rock are cleaned out first so the rock sits on fabric, not on decaying mulch.
Rock around the foundation keeps soil off the siding and handles roof runoff without splashing.
When we install it
Any time the ground is workable. Rock is a one-time install, so most customers schedule it with other landscape work in spring or fall.
- Tell us which beds and the look you want; we bring samples and measure.
- The crew clears the beds, lays fabric and edging, and spreads the rock.
- Walks and lawn are blown clean before we leave.
Landscape rock in Eden Prairie: common questions
Do you offer landscape rock in Eden Prairie?
Yes. Eden Prairie is on the regular landscaping routes we run from our shop in Rogers, and landscape rock is priced from an estimate we email the same day you request it.
Do weeds still come up through rock?
Far fewer than through mulch, and the ones that do are shallow-rooted in windblown dust and easy to pull. Fabric underneath is what makes the difference.
