Compensation: $15 to $20 Hourly
Peter Doran Lawn is searching for motivated individuals that are interested in becoming a part of our team for the 2019 season. We are currently seeking applicants for snow shoveling and are looking for individuals who want to make a long term commitment to our company.
Job responsibilities include:
- Shovel and blow snow from walks, in front of garage doors, and spread salt in those areas requested
The right candidate can look forward to spring, summer and fall employment opportunities for the following responsibilities:
- Operate lawn equipment such as walk behind mowers, weed whips, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and other related tools and equipment.
- Mow and edge lawns, using walk behinds and edgers.
- Mulching
- Aerating, Overseeding
- Hand weeding, raking and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears and pruners
- Spring and Fall cleanups
- Weed control, spreading fertilizer
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers
Our ideal candidate:
- Shows up on time, every day
- Is in good health
- Has a Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ pounds and pass D.O.T. physical
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Motivated to learn
- Hard working and positive attitude
