Lawn Fertilizer Applicator Technician
Compensation: $15 to $20 Hourly
Peter Doran Lawn is searching for motivated individuals that are interested in becoming a part of our team for the 2019 season. We are currently seeking applicants for lawn fertilizer applicator technicians and are looking for individuals who want to make a long term commitment to our company.
Job responsibilities include:
- Perform fertilizer / pesticide applications and manage an application route.Diagnose turf diseases, weed infestations, nutrient deficiencies, and drought.Assume product knowledge and recommend appropriate treatments
The right candidate can look forward to summer, fall and winter employment opportunities for the following responsibilities:
- Mow and edge lawns, using walk behinds and edgers.
- Mulching
- Aerating, Overseeding
- Hand weeding, raking and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls
- Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears and pruners
- Fall cleanups
- Operate lawn equipment such as walk behind mowers, weed whips, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and other related tools and equipment.
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers
- Shovel and blow snow from walks, in front of garage doors, and spread salt in those areas requested

- Has a Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50+ pounds and pass D.O.T. physical
- Able to work in all weather conditions
